All appointments with Dr. Alex Raben are virtual.

To book your appointment, please select the service Virtual Psychiatry Consultation and select a time that works best for you. You will then be prompted to create an account. Creating an account will allow you to join a secure video call with Dr. Alex Raben at the time of your appointment.

You will also be prompted to provide a credit card in order to secure your appointment with Vita Psychiatry. The cost of your appointment is completely covered by OHIP and your credit card will only be charged in the event that you do not adhere to our cancellation policy. Upon successful completion of your appointment, please allow up to 10 business days before following up with your primary physician/nurse practitioner.

Vita Psychiatry is dedicated to providing the highest quality care for our patients. To assist our healthcare professionals and improve the accuracy of our documentation, our office uses an AI medical scribe called DeepCura AI. This is an advanced software tool that gathers audio-only information from your appointment and generates a draft medical note for the clinician to review, modify and finalize. DeepCura AI uses secure, encrypted systems which comply with PHIPA and PIPEDA (Ontario privacy legislation) to protect your privacy and ensure confidentiality. The original audio recording is securely stored and will be deleted after a set period, according to our data retention policies.

If you have had an appointment in the past 24 months with Dr. Raben, you cannot see Dr. Raben for another consultation appointment. Instead, please reach out to your primary physician.
